I feel immensely proud to have been the Head Teacher of Whitnash Primary School since January 2016. During this time I have thoroughly enjoyed developing and growing a school which is absolutely committed to enriching the lives and education of all its pupils. 

 

I have exceptionally high aspirations and expectations for our school and am passionate about ensuring that the very best learning opportunities are provided for all our children, so that we inspire in them a love of learning!

 

At Whitnash Primary School we want all children to achieve the best that they can so that each and every child fulfils their true potential.  We are therefore passionate about providing an ‘inclusive’ education for all children and committed to the development of the whole-child.

 

The importance of a values education, the development of children’s social and emotional aspects of learning, encouraging pupil creativity and the effort to provide meaningful curriculum enrichment opportunities, feature as highly in our school development plan as the other essential academic achievements.  This is because we believe that these are essential elements of effective teaching and learning, and crucial to enabling children to grow into successful, resilient and well-adjusted citizens.

 

Our school is also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  We work diligently to ensure that all our children are safe and secure, and therefore ready and able to learn.

Whitnash Primary School already serves many families from Whitnash and the surrounding areas. However, Whitnash Primary is continually expanding to meet the needs of the growing local population.

 

As parents, you are the first educators of your child and so we actively seek and value your contribution and commitment in working with us to give your child the best education that we can.
