Year 4 are busy preparing for the RSPB 'Great School's Birdwatch' which will take place at the end of February.  So far Mr Johnson has made us a bird table and Kate Haines our Forest School teacher has helped us to make some bird feeders.  The canteen has even been kindly giving us left-overs after break time for the birds to enjoy.  We know the birds need time to get used to their new feeding area and so we are watching and waiting! So far we have attracted a lovely pair of robins and a big fat squirrel! 

If anyone has any spare bird feeders, bird baths, nesting boxes or actual bird feed that they would like to contribute to our efforts we would be extremely grateful, as would the Whitnash birds!!
